After many years of working in administrative roles, both in accounts and general admin, I was at a bit of a crossroads. I always thought that I’d end up in healing or coaching work, but life had other plans.

After a very difficult time in my life, I had been considering proofreading; I have always been good with spelling and grammar, and had occasionally been asked to check through documents at work. Some friends of mine thought this would be a good idea.

So I enrolled on a course with College of Media and Publishing, passed it with distinction, and here I am.

My primary interests are non-fiction work, and I am interested in working with but not limited to: people in the health and wellness, spirituality, and personal development fields, plus neurodivergent individuals. I am neurodivergent myself, and perhaps this is part of the reason I have ended up with a mindset that likes attention to detail and problem solving.
